Standard Saturday #Janathon Day 12

I meant to tell you yesterday how I'd got on weighing in. Well, I lost 3.5lbs, which is pretty much where I was before Christmas and I thought I'd have a look at a graph to see how I'd done in 2012. In the main, pretty good, however my lowest weight was at the end of November at 203lbs (14st 7lb), so I still have a couple of lbs to go to get back down to that level. Part of the problem (aside from the build up to Christmas) was that when you only put a little on, and you know you've not been as good as you should, you can think you've got away with it and that's OK. Accepting that result week after week is how it can start to go against you again and I've no desire to be 17 stone again trying to squeeze into trousers with a 40" waist to avoid buying 42".

I was woken this morning by Stellian opening the curtains and telling me it was snowing. She promptly took herself off to the swimming pool and by the time I came downstairs S was dancing around singing about the snow and asking if we could make snowballs! Unfortunately, the snow was just light flakes swirling around but not sticking and even this had finished before it was time for their tennis lesson.

Like last week, Kids + tennis = adults + gym. I decided a 10 minute stint on quite a few pieces of equipment would be the best way to exercise today (excluding warm up and warm down). I decided to revisit the rowing machine for only the second time this month. It was a big rocky as I couldn't find somewhere comfortable for my iPhone to sit. In the end, I took it off. Exercising without music felt very strange as it didn't really feel like I got into a rhythm. Although I was slower than last time, I still completed 2k in under 10 minutes.

Today's exercise takes me over 100 miles for the month - almost feels like it's a new achievement every day. Hopefully taking my weight under 200lbs isn't that far away.
